So what’s a “Maidel?” A woman.
And a “Faigel?” A little bird. Or a gay man.
This is the story of what happens when a gay Catholic meets a Jewish woman. They cohabitate. Roommie shenanigans ensue. As the Faigel says, “It’s a 21st Century fairy tale.” Or, “Will & Grace” on ambien.
About John Wolf, the Faigel

John Wolf is a mass communications doctoral student at Syracuse University. He studies queer and popular cultures. He is addicted to NPR and Jewish cuisine (just the vegetarian stuff really and certainly not gefilte fish – ick!). He hails from Cleveland, Ohio (Old Brooklyn-born, mofos!) and has a distinctive talent for taking nothing seriously while simultaneously over-thinking everything. “Meaning,” Wolf says, “is in the contradictions.” He has seen every episode of “The Golden Girls.” Twice.
